Travel regulations

The Tourism Development Committee unveiled the new procedure for entering the country, established by the anti-coronavirus commission.

According to the new procedure:

Visa applications can be submitted through a centralized e-system. Starting from March 25 , foreigners entering the country will have to hold PCR test certificates (not express), issued exclusively by laboratories recognized by the Sanitary and Epidemiological Authority of Uzbekistan.

Citizens of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan entering the Sokh district, the Uzbek villages of Shohimardon, Chonkara, Toshtepa and transiting to Uzbekistan are not required to take all types of coronavirus tests.

In Uzbekistan, citizens are required to wear medical masks and observe other precautions (social distance, disinfection).
