The National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Korea Plant Industries Association (KOPIA), is implementing projects scheduled for 2019-2023.

Several technical assistance projects have been implemented in Uzbekistan.

On June 28, the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture hosted a forum on “Uzbekistan – KOPIA cooperation projects”.

It was attended by representatives of all research institutes and regional centers of agricultural services in the system of the National Center. Currently, the project of the Rice Research Institute and KOPIA “Development of organic farming using mechanization of rice cultivation” is being implemented.

Its goal is to develop organic farming by planting rice using mechanisms and developing technology for feeding ducks in rice fields.

At the event, important contacts were established in animal husbandry, meat and milk production based on Korean technologies. Scientifically based experiments were tested.
