Latvian agro-logistics company, KGS Group, is set to invest over 10 million euros in a new project in Uzbekistan.

The project will involve the construction of high-tech agro-logistic complexes in the Fergana region.

This information was revealed following online negotiations between the CEO of KGS Group, Peteris Kaushelis, and the governor (hokim) of Altaryk District in the Fergana region, Shamsiddin Turdaliyev.

The complexes will encompass the entire agricultural production cycle, which involves growing fresh greens, cabbage, and various other types of vegetables in compliance with global and European standards. The transportation of goods for export to European Union countries will be facilitated by KGS Group’s refrigerated trucks.

An agreement was reached that Peteris Kaushelis will visit the Altaryk region in early September.
