Projects worth 399.23 billion soums to be implemented in Nukus district

These days, members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan are in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 11 November 2020 “On measures for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in 2020-2023”.

In particular, the chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Defense and Security Issues Kutbiddin Burkhanov, the deputy of the Legislative Chamber Leyla Seytova, the deputy of the Jogargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Duisenbai Utambetov visited the Nukus district and met with the deputies of the regional Kengash of people’s deputies.

During the meeting, it was noted that within the framework of the Industrial Development Program of the Nukus region in 2020-2023, it is planned to implement 84 projects worth 399 billion 234 million soums. Of these, 18 projects will be implemented in industry, 44 in agriculture and 22 in the provision of services.

In addition, the senator and the deputies also got acquainted with the activities of NEO INTORG LLC in the territory of the citizens ‘gathering of the village of Kutankol in Nukus district and Qaraqalpaq nasl elita LLC in the territory of the citizens’ gathering of Samanboy aul.
